About Kids Fight League
Kids Fight League (KFL) is a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the state of California. KFL application under the IRS 501C3 tax code as a public charitable organization is pending approval.
To make the program possible, we actively seek individual and corporate sponsors to provide funding, as well as qualified martial arts schools to provide a rich learning experience.
KFL is a nonprofit organization with the mission to empower children to grow through martial arts. KFL will strive to promote the growth of all forms of martial arts for children and provide them a venue
to learn, practice, and grow their skills in a safe environment. There is an emphasis on participation and healthy competition. We recognize that competition is an integral element in childhood development.
To this end we encourage and ensure an opportunity for children within their age groups to participate in organized martial arts competitions. Through competition children will develop positive social
values and character traits that will instill the will to win and the courage to accept defeat. There will always be an emphasis on clean play and sportsmanship conduct by everyone participating in KFL.
Our hope is that participants may become happier, more productive individuals who are truly better people because of their involvement with KFL.
There are numerous studies and firsthand accounts about the benefits of martial arts training. Far from being merely a form of fighting. Many martial arts students find that training is a truly life changing
experience for them.
What martial arts teach to children goes far beyond exercise or fun. Common benefits include, increased concentration, confidence, self discipline, respect for themselves and others, assertiveness and
politeness. Children are taught how to show these traits in class, and encouraged to also do so at home. As they become more confident with their new skills and behaviors, their grades get better and
they begin to understand the value of a little hard work. Of course every child will progress at his/her own rate, but these behavioral benefits will appear much more regularly with the parents' help
at home. Now with benefits such as these, martial arts training become more than exercise and more than self defense. It becomes a method of training in life skills that children need in order to have
the confidence to write their own success stories.
Kids Fight League believe these are all vital skills for growing youths.
